About / Statement
Natalia Armienta & Bernardo De Niz
Cielito Lindo Producciones is an independent production company based in Jalisco, Mexico, founded by director Natalia Armienta Oikawa and director of photography Bernardo De Niz.
It was born from a long-standing creative collaboration in documentary film, with a joint trajectory in internationally exhibited and awarded projects.
Our editorial line focuses on the development and production of documentaries and fiction projects that explore identity, memory, culture and contemporary social tensions in Mexico and Latin America, with an authorial perspective and a strong commitment to narrative and visual rigor.
Simultaneously, Cielito Lindo Producciones operates as a service producer and local production partner for international projects carried out in Mexico, offering creative and logistical support, local production, research, scouting, crew, and cultural advice, under international standards.
We believe in cinema as a tool for reflection, dialogue and connection between cultures, and in collaboration as a fundamental axis for building stories with depth, honesty and global reach.
